If a fire is extinguished at one place, it flares up at another place. Local people living near the land fill site say that fires often occur here during summers.

According to the police, information was received at around 5.22 pm on Sunday that a fire had broken out in the Ghazipur land fill site. As soon as the water dried, the fire started again. A fire department official said that due to the pressure of the garbage, methane gas is formed there, due to which the fire breaks out again and again. It is not known whether the fire started due to heat itself or due to some human error. At present, there was movement of fire engines at the spot.
